A home in Belle Meade demonstrates that art can exist not only within the museum or gallery, but also as a permanent, defining fixture of the spaces we inhabit in our daily lives. The edifice of 734 Jackson Boulevard, a project dubbed outside734, both delights and inspires by nature of its outdoor location. The completed work, titled Timeline, depicts economic progression from industrial age Europe to the near future, with Asia elevating itself to a powerful position within the world economy.
A fantastical mural on the front wall of a modern home, Timeline can be attributed to two Seattle-based street artists – Jeff Jacobson and Joey Nix. This large scale, highly visible work is already gaining considerable attention from within the Belle Meade community. To learn more, visit the projects Facebook page.
