The January issue of Nashville Arts Magazine features a painting by Tinney Contemporary artist Claire Cotts in the monthly column, “My Favorite Painting.”  Keith Glanz, speciality coffee roaster and retired member of the Pacific Stock Exchange, describes why Claire Cotts’ Summer Sebastopol (48″ x 72″ acrylic on canvas) is his favorite painting, stating “I’ve never been attracted to Pollyannaish imagery or excessive optimism.  I’m more interested in clues to dealing with the uncertainty of awareness.  Claire’s gorgeous new work, Summer Sebastopol, speaks to me in this way and is one of my favorites.”  To digitally view “My Favorite Painting” in the magazine, click here.
