Check out this video to see Sidonie Villere’s process in creating the works for her solo show at Tinney Contemporary.
Tinney Contemporary hosted an AMAZING event at the gallery last night called “Heroes Behind the Hits” for the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Heroes Behind the Hits” is a monthly radio show recorded and produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau right here in Music City, and broadcast exclusively by XM Satellite Radio. Taped live before audiences at various Nashville venues, the series presents songwriters of all genres during an informal “in-the-round” showcase – performing their hits, revealing their influences, and sharing their personal stories of writing, recording and living in Music City.
Tinney Contemporary artist, Eduardo Terranova, has been selected to be an Artist in Residence for a period of two months in Mecklenburg, Germany. The program Terranova will be participating in is called “Mecklenburg Ispires.” It is a prestigious art and hotel association based in the Baltic Sea. Terranova will be in Germany for this residency program from February 1st till the end of March, 2011. He is also representing the United States as the first representative artist in residence in this region. The works that Terranova will produce while in Germany will be exhibited at the Mecklenburg Art Center and perhaps at other galleries in Berlin.
