I would like to add that on many of Don's pyrotechnic performances I composed original soundtracks, sometimes performed live with fireworks costumes, and people will be hearing the musical collaborations and see video of my performance parts in these multimedia performance art pieces. I met Don in 1983, not as a student, but as an observer who then became a great friend and artistic collaborator. Of course, even though I did not have Don officially as art professor, our work together over the years were very much learning experiences and I cherish my friendship and artistic time with Don Evans. Hope to see lot's of folks at the opening tonight.
